• Backups can be full workspace, single page, or subtree.
• Restoring a backup adds restored content as copies with new IDs.
• Restore does not overwrite or delete the current workspace.
• You can optionally preserve study state on restore.
• Invalid hierarchy in a backup may be repaired with warnings.
• Repeated restore can create duplicates — this protects against accidental overwrite.

• Export creates readable HTML, TXT, PDF, or subtree ZIP files.
• Export is for portability — not full Yuhimo recovery.
• Readable export usually does not include full learning state.
• Use backup when you need restore inside Yuhimo.

Import / Export and Vendor lock-in.

• Offline mode keeps a read-only snapshot in browser storage on each device.
• Enabling offline access refreshes that snapshot while online.
• Limits: about 20 MB per note and about 300 MB total cache.
• Cached content may be stale until reconnect and cache refresh complete.
• Do not expect offline editing, grading, learning sessions, trash, AI, or backup restore.
• Cached content is not a backup — use backups for recovery.

• Do not assume export is the same as backup.
• Do not assume restore overwrites the workspace.
• Do not assume cached offline content is complete or permanent.
• Do not assume offline mode supports editing.
• Do not assume another app can use Yuhimo’s scheduling state.
• Do not assume external links will always remain available.
• Do not assume unsupported file, image, or video storage.

• Keep important explanations inside pages, not only in external links.
• Use clear page titles and structure.
• Use backups for recovery protection.
• Use exports when portability matters.
• Review restored copies before deleting anything.
• Do not rely on cached offline content as the only copy.
• Keep questions understandable outside hidden context.
