How learning pages work
Learn what makes a page a learning page and how it becomes part of your review system.
A learning page is a regular Yuhimo page that you choose to remember long-term.
You can use Yuhimo as a simple notes app, but when a page contains knowledge you want to keep active, you can turn on learning for that page. Yuhimo will then include it in your review system and help schedule future reviews.
What is a learning page?
Every page starts as a normal note. A normal page stores information but is not scheduled for review. When you turn on learning, that page becomes a learning page—part of your review system with ratings and scheduled next review dates.

What happens when you turn on learning?
Yuhimo creates a learning state for the page. That includes stability, difficulty, a next review date, and review history once you start grading.
New learning pages begin in a short acquisition phase with a near-term first review. Yuhimo uses your ratings to adjust stability and difficulty over time before longer intervals apply.

Does Yuhimo test me?
Yuhimo does not automatically judge whether your answer is correct. You rate your own recall. That is intentional: pages can be short notes, long articles, technical explanations, or personal knowledge branches—not just simple Q&A pairs.
How a learning page appears in reviews
A learning page appears in a review session when its next review date has arrived. A page is due when that date is today or in the past.
What do the ratings mean?
- Again — you mostly forgot it.
- Hard — you remembered it, but with difficulty.
- Good — you remembered it well enough.
- Easy — you remembered it easily.
Do I need questions?
No. Questions are optional. They can help during review but are not required. You can write them manually, generate them with AI, and edit generated questions before using them.

A user creates a page called "React Components and Props". At first it is a regular note. Later they turn on learning. Yuhimo then includes it in review sessions and schedules future reviews based on their ratings.
