Why isn’t my page due?

Only learning pages enter review scheduling.

A normal page can contain notes and questions but still not appear in review sessions. Learning must be enabled for that specific page.

A page does not become a learning page just because it has questions. A child page does not automatically become a learning page because its parent has learning enabled.

A learning page appears in review when Yuhimo considers it due. If its due date is in the future, it should not appear in normal due review sessions.

A page reviewed recently may be scheduled later. A page marked Good or Easy may be pushed farther out. A page with higher stability may wait longer before the next review.

Yuhimo uses retrievability as an internal estimate of how likely you are to recall the page right now.

If retrievability is still high enough, the page may not be due yet. This is normal spaced repetition behavior.

For pages in review, Yuhimo allows one grade per page per calendar day. If the page was already graded today, it will not be due for another graded review until the next calendar day.

For pages still in the learning phase, short step intervals control when the page returns. If you graded recently, the page may simply be waiting for its next learning step — not blocked by the review-phase daily limit.

The rule uses calendar-day behavior, including timezone-aware day boundaries where supported in your Yuhimo version.

A scoped learning session reviews learning pages inside a selected page branch or topic area.

A due page outside the selected scope may not appear even though it is due in the global queue. If you expect a page to appear, check the session scope you started.

A child page and parent page are separate pages. Scope follows the branch you selected, not every learning page in Yuhimo.

Parent pages and child pages are separate pages. Learning state does not automatically inherit between them.

A parent page can be due while a child page is not. A child page can be due while the parent page is not. Each learning page has its own scheduling state, due date, and review history.

A page does not need questions to be due. Adding questions does not automatically make a page due. Removing questions does not necessarily remove the page from scheduling if learning remains enabled.

Due status is controlled by learning state and scheduling, not by whether questions exist.

After every valid review grade, Yuhimo updates the page’s scheduling state.

Again, Hard, Good, and Easy can produce different future review timing. Easy usually gives more scheduling progress than Good. Hard usually gives less progress than Good. Again usually brings the page back sooner.

The exact result also depends on previous state, review timing, stability, difficulty, and retrievability.

If a page is reviewed early, it may still have high retrievability afterward.

Early successful reviews usually should not push the schedule as much as an on-time review. The page may not become due again immediately after an early review.

This behavior helps avoid inflating progress from reviews done too soon.

• Is learning enabled for this exact page?
• Is the page’s due date today or earlier?
• If in review, was this page already graded today? If in learning, is the next short step due yet?
• Are you in a scoped review session?
• Is the page outside the selected scope?
• Are you checking the parent page instead of the child page, or the reverse?
• Did a recent Good or Easy grade move it farther out?
• Did timezone or calendar-day behavior affect today’s eligibility?
• Are you expecting questions to make the page due automatically?

If the page is not a learning page, turn on learning for that page.

If the page is due later, wait until its due date. You can still read the page, but it should not appear in normal due review sessions until then.

If a review-phase page was graded today, review it again tomorrow. If a learning-phase page is waiting, check when its next short step becomes due.

If the session is scoped, start a broader review session or choose the branch that contains the page you expected.

If the structure is confusing, confirm whether the content you care about is on the parent page or a child page, and check learning state on that exact page.

Does a page need questions to be due?

No. Questions are optional prompts. Due status depends on learning state and scheduling.

Can a normal page appear in review?

No. A page must have learning enabled before it can enter review scheduling.

Why did another page become due but this one did not?

Each learning page has its own scheduling state. Review history, grades, stability, difficulty, retrievability, and due date can differ between pages.

Can I grade the same page twice today?

In review, no — one grade per calendar day. During the learning phase, yes, when the next short learning step becomes due.

Can a scoped session hide a due page?

Yes. If the due page is outside the selected session scope, it will not appear in that scoped session.

Does marking a page Easy make it disappear for longer?

Usually yes. Easy normally signals strong recall and can move the next review farther out, depending on the page’s scheduling state.
