How reviews work

A review session shows learning pages that are due for review.

A page is due when its scheduled review date has arrived. This means the review date is today or already in the past.

Regular pages do not appear in review sessions. Only pages with learning enabled are included.

During a review, Yuhimo keeps the interface focused. You usually see the page title, review questions, and answers if they exist.

You can try to recall the material first, then reveal answers or open the original page content to check yourself.

At the end, you rate how well you remembered the material.

1. Yuhimo selects learning pages that are due.
2. You start a review session.
3. You try to recall the content.
4. You check questions, answers, or the original page if needed.
5. You choose a rating: Again, Hard, Good, or Easy.
6. Yuhimo updates the page and schedules the next review.

• Again — you mostly forgot the material.
• Hard — you remembered it, but it took effort.
• Good — you remembered it well enough.
• Easy — you remembered it clearly and quickly.

These ratings are not scores. They are signals for scheduling.

Yuhimo uses them to decide whether the next review should happen sooner or later.

Yuhimo does not check your answer like an exam system.

Instead, it trusts your self-assessment. This works better for long or flexible notes, because a page may contain more information than you need to memorize exactly.

The goal is not to prove that you were correct. The goal is to schedule the next review based on how well you actually remembered the material.

After you rate a page, Yuhimo updates its learning state and calculates the next review date.

If the material was difficult, the next review may stay close. If you remembered it easily, the next review can move further into the future.

After you rate a page, Yuhimo may show an undo option for a few seconds — usually about 10 seconds.

Undo is for accidental grades only. Only the most recent grading action can be undone. If you move on to another page, the previous undo opportunity is gone.

Undo restores the previous review and scheduling state for that rating. It is not version history, backup restore, or a way to change older reviews later.

Questions are helpful, but not required.

You can review a page by trying to explain it from memory. Questions simply give you prompts and make the review more structured.

Pages in review can only receive one review grade per calendar day. This keeps long-term scheduling stable.

Pages still in the initial learning phase can be graded again the same day when their next short learning step becomes due.

Its next review date is today, so it appears in your review session.

You try to explain the concept from memory. You remember most of it, but you need to check one question before you feel confident.

You choose Good.

Yuhimo updates the page and schedules the next review further in the future.

A review session is the main way Yuhimo keeps your learning pages active.

You recall the material, check yourself, choose a rating, and Yuhimo schedules the next review. The process stays simple because Yuhimo does not try to judge your knowledge automatically — it helps you maintain a rhythm of remembering.

Do review sessions test me automatically?

No. Yuhimo does not automatically grade your answers. You review the material and choose the rating yourself.

Can I review a page without questions?

Yes. Questions are optional. You can review by recalling the page content directly.

Why did a page appear in my review session?

Because learning is enabled for that page and its next review date is today or in the past.

What happens after I rate a page?

Yuhimo updates the page's learning state and schedules the next review.

Can I rate the same page multiple times in one day?
